She can breath but like emphysema, because of the buildup her ability to proces and utilize all this new extra O2 u now are running lean.hence the cackle, so u went from a lake of O2 for compleatl and proper combustion allowing the excess diesle to remain after the combustion cycle and be deposited onto the cylander instead of evacuated during the exhaust cycle. New turbo goes on and now due to the carbon build up it can't breath, think emphysema for the engin. The excess fuel cokes the cylander with carbon because all the excess fuel basically turns to a gummy shilack when exposed to High temps in a now low oxygen, due to bad turbo, environment. So back to what I was saying about reduced intact charge air volume due to bad turbo. Last oil change and current condition of oil? That alon can and will do what u just described in terms of stalling idle and run down street that 1/10th of a mile she actually makes. Breaks need to be bleed while fuel needs to be purgedĪlso if your turbo was grandee and u still drove it that way then all u did was run her very rich because the injectors are finite volume pos displacement with control varyability coming from PWM signals from the PCM to the IDM and then from IDM to ingector solinoid. What I recommend any time u service or disconnect the fuel system exposing it to air u need to think about it like having to bleed breaks after u open the lins only diff is breaks are closed loop with no consumption and fuel is a consumable. If u are taking the fuel bowl off and allowing air to get in then it can take up to 30 mins to purge the galleries if bubbles. No start then wants to start then loans sputters dies loans sputters dies many again then loans sputters and jackals for about a min with a rough idle for a few mins until the air has been purged from the fuel sys? Because of the design of the fuel rails or galleries becaus it's more like an oil or cool and gallery than a pipe it takes a while to get all the air trapped in all the oriphaces of the fuel galleries in the heads. Stock turbo? How many miles? Is it basically doing what it does when yo install a new fuel filter? I.e. Cackling in my experience indicates air in fuel.
